    B A
How long must she stand
G
Before the ground, it gives way
B A
To an endless fall
G
She can feel this war on her face
B A
The stars on her pillow
G
She's folding in darkness begging for slumber

D F
I'm not blind
      G D
I can see it coming
D F
Looks like lightning
G D
In my child's eye

D F
I'm not frantic
      G D
I can feel it coming
D F
Violently shakes
G D
My body

B A
Her son's slanted
G
Always giving her the sideways eye
B A
The empty chair where dad sits
G
How loud can silence get?
B A
And mom, she reassures
G
To contain him but it's becoming a lie
B A
She tells herself and anyone else
G
Father is risking his life for our freedoms

D F
I'm not blind
      G D
I can see it coming
D F
Looks like lightning
G D
In my child's eye

D F
I'm not frantic
      G D
I can feel it coming
D F
Darling you'll save me
       G D
If you save yourself

It's Bm rather than B

It's actually a Bsus4 not a B or Bm.
And in the chorus there's a E5 chord in between the D and F but I play it as a E major and have my guitar tuned to drop D.
