This is the version my mother taught me. She used to play it back when it first came out.
I use it on Capo 4 but it sounds good in any key.

The chord progressions of the song are G-C and G-Em-Am-D.

Here is the basic picking pattern for each chord:

singing to play each picking pattern once before i switch but you can make it your own.
