Home – Performed by Phillip Phillips on American Idol (written by Greg Holden)
Key of C
Time Signature – 2/2
BPM – 121
Note: These are the guitar chords, the bass notes are a little different in the walk
down at the end of the verse. For example, the line "make this place your home" he walks
down the notes --> F , E , D , C. If you are picking rather than strumming, be aware of this.

The second chord definatley sounds like an Fsus2, sometimes when he plays it live he does an F but his guitar player still does an Fsus2 and in the studio recording it's Fsus2. Nip Picky i know but just wanted to say :)
Also for the C/E i would play it like X X 2 0 1 0 because to do that lick and run smooth it'd be best not to change octives
There is also a G/D over the word "place"
And The G/B should be a C/B
All very nip-picky but i just wanted to help out :)
Jake's tab (Ver. 3) looks like it's almost perfect or at least close to it.

Thanks Yakamak, I appreciate the feedback. I agree there is a D bass note on the word "place" but if you play a G/D on the piano it sounds awful so I changed it to just a G. It all depends on the instrument you are playing, I tried to make this chord chart for piano/guitar and bass, so people need to just take the main chords and decide how that translates to their instrument. Thanks again for the feedback!
