Wolfman's Brother by Phish
Trascribed by Boaz Laor

Tuning-My tab maybe a 1/2 step up or down by accident. I just tuned to
the cd so \ i couldn't tell if maybe i was a 1/2 step or down.

This is sorta like the the new album's version.

Intro.(first 2 chords)

Bar Chords-Gm G#m

The Groove- Get the Wah Wah Ready.

A#(do some wah wah muffles, and hit lower notes of the chord)->Gm->G#m

The verses are underlined by this groove.

A# Gm G#m
It was many years ago now
A# Gm G#m
I really can't be sure
A# Gm G#m
cause when it all began then
A# Gm G#m
I heard that knock upon my door.

Chorus:
                  F D#
Its the Wolfman's Brother, the Wolfman's Brother
A#->Gm->G#m(the original groove of the verse)
comin' down on me.

Bridge:

Gm G#m
So in meaningless excitement.
Gm G#m
through the total sound.
Gm G#m
its like a cross between a hurricane.
Gm G#m
Its like a ship that's running g..

The Ending.THe ho ho ho ho part if you know what i mean.

This riff is underlined by the main grove A#->Gm->G#m

a simple run down the pentatonic scale,B means Bend
                  B B
---6---3-----------------------------------------------------|
---------6---3-----------------------------------------------|
------------------5--3-----3---5-----------------------------|
------------------------5------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------------------|

The rest of the Jam is of course on the same A# pentatonic scale.

I think the main solo part is played this way..... the timing is not spaced correctly, but if you know the song the tempo should be familiar : )---6---3--1--3-------------------------------------------------|----------------1ho-3ho-1----------------------------------------|----------------------------3--0-----------------------------|------------------------------------------------------------|-------------------------------------------------------------|-------------------------------------------------------------|Doing it this way allows you to get the 1-3-1 hammer on/off on the B string, which is easier than trying to play those fast notes between the B and G strings.Once you get this down...you can jump right into the Gminor chord to the G#major chord, then right back to the top of the solo...very fun to jam on.

Another correction... The main jam is Gminor , G#major , A#major

If you keep the G# as minor, it just sounds off,
