E|---2-----2-----0-----0-----4-----2-----4-----0-----2-----|
F#m7add11 is named F#m7 in the lyrics section for the sake of being able to fit the chord changes
to the lyrics.
F#m13 omits the 5th which is quite normal in voicing a chord on guitar that in its full form contains 7
notes,
as well as the 9th, but contains the 7th and 13th along with the minor 3rd which are the most important notes
in determining a minor 13th chord. Can also be thought of as B7add11/F#.
Hall adds a finger to go from A to Amaj7/G#, as you see in the fingerpicking section, I haven't added this
chord change to the lyrics, but this continues on through the whole song, through the strumming sections
you'll want to put emphasis on strumming that E string to make it stand out.

F#m7 F#m13 E A | Fingerpicking
So satisfied, I said a lot of things tonight. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
So long aphasia and the ways it kept me hiding. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) It's not so much exactly all the words I used — |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) it's more that I was somehow down to let them loose. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
So complicated, I can't wait to get explainin'. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) Your listening distended out since I've been crying. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) So long aphasia and the ways it kept me hidden |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) So long to silent nerves and hesitant oblivion. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) You came and sent me out unfurling in the street — |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) And I felt unprecedented confidence in speaking. |
^ (regular strumming)
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Muted strumming
( ) Stick around I'm thinking things'll be alright |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) Newly delivered, won't you live with me tonight? |

Something tonight was such a letdown on my pride |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
It takes a part of me I don't got to take some things in stride. |
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Muted strumming
I'd pace around the place, so quiet in myself |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) I'd wake the next and see my silence went unfelt |
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Regular strumming
( )Just when I thought I had this pattern sorted out, |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
( ) apparently my ventricles are full of doubt, now — |
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Muted strumming
Nah, things go wrong sometimes, don't let it freak you out |
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Regular strumming
( ) But if I don't have you by me then I'll go underground! |
F#m7 F#m13 E A | Muted strumming
Nah, but what you've got was in your reaches all along. |
|
F#m7 F#m13 E A |
Plus one day you'll be reaching for me and I'll be gone, |

I didn't include it in the tab since it isn't part of the song, but I like to give a last slow strum with E to end the song on a happy note :)
