For all the time spent in that room,
The dolls house dakrness, old perfume

4. FLAMING
E D
Alone in the clouds all blue,
Bm A E
Lying on an eiderdown, yippee
A D F E
You can't see me but I can you
Lazing in the foggy dew,
Sitting on a unicorn, no fear
You can't hear me but I can you
Watching buttercups cup the light,
Sleeping on a dandelion, too much
I won't touch you but then I might
Streaming through the starlit skies,
Traveling by telephone
Hey ho here we go,
Ever so high
Alone in the clouds all blue,
Lying on an eiderdown, yippee
You can't see me but I can you
5. POW R. TOC H.
[Instrumental]
This is a funny song probably the result of too much acid and too much helium.
Haha. It is a good song though.
6. TAKE UP THY STETHOSCOPE & WALK
Riff for first verse:
G|-------|
D|-7-5-7-|
A|-------|
E|-------|
Doctor, doctor I'm in bed,
Doctor, doctor, aching head
Doctor, doctor, gold is lead,
Doctor, doctor, choke on bread
Doctor, doctor, underfed,
Doctor, doctor, gold is lead
Doctor, doctor, Jesus bled,
Doctor, doctor, pain is red
Doctor, doctor, dark doom,
Gruel ghoul, greasy spoon
Used spoon, June gloom
Use riff for bridge:
G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|-----------------|
E|-0-0-1-1-3-3-5-5-|
Music seems to help the pain,
Seems to motivate the brain,
Doctor kindly tell your wife
(Go back to riff for verse)
That I'm alive,
Flowers thrive
E A
Realise,
E A
Realise,
E A
Realise

I want to tell you a story 'bout a little man, if I can,
D A D C A C A
A gnome named Grimble Grumble. And little gnomes stay in their homes,
G D Bb7 C F A7 D
Eating, sleeping, drinking their wine.
D A D C A C A
He wore a scarlet tunic, a bluegreen hood; it looked quite good.
D A D C A C A
He had a big adventure amidst the grass, fresh air at last.
G D Bb7 C F A7 D
Wining, dining, biding his time.
G C/G F A/E E G D G D
And then one day, hooray, another way for gnomes to say, "Hooray!"
D A D C/G A C/G A
Look at the sky; look at the river. Isn't it good?
D A D C/G A C/G A
Look at the sky; look at the river. Isn't it good?
G D Bb7 C F A7 D
Winding, finding places to go.
G C/G F A/E E G D G D
And then one day, hooray, another way for gnomes to say, "Hooray!"
9. CHAPTER 24
(There is no guitar in this song, but there is a bass and unfortunately
I haven't been able to figure it out)
All movement is accomplished in six stages,
And the seventh brings return
The seven is the number of the your light,
It forms when darkness is increased by one
Change; return success,
Going and coming without error
Action brings good fortuene,
Sunset
The time is with the month of winter solstice,
When the change is due to come
Thunder in the Earth, the course of Heaven,
Things cannott be destroyed once and for all
Change; return success,
Going and coming without error
Action brings good fortune,
Sunset...
Sunrise...
All movement is accomplished in six stages,
And the seventh brings return
The seven is the number of the your light,
It forms when darkness is increased by one
Change; return success,
Going and coming without error
Action brings good fortuene,
Sunset...
Sunrise...
10. SCARECROW
D A C A G
The black and green scarecrow, as ev'ryone knows,
A D A
Stood with a bird on his hat and straw ev'rywhere.
D
He didn't care.
G Am G A
He stood in a field where barley grows.
D A C A G
His head did no thinking, his arms didn't move,
A D A D
Except when the wind cut up rough and mice ran around on the ground.
G Am G A
He stood in a field where barley grows.
D A C A G
The black and green scarecrow is sadder than me__.
A D A
But now he's resigned to his fate's, 'cause life's not unkind.
D
He doesn't mind.
G Am G A
He stood in a field where barley grows.
11. BIKE
G C
I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like,
C
It's got a basket, a bell that rings
G
And things to make it look good,
D G
I'd give it to you if I could but I borrowed it
D
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world,
D
I'll give you anything, everything, if you weant things
I've got a cloak it's a bit of a joke,
There's a tear up the front it's red and black
I've had it for months,
If you think it could look good then I guess it should
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world,
I'll give you anything, everything, if you weant things
I know a mouse and he hasn't got a house,
I don't know why I call him Gerald
He's getting rather old but he's a good mouse
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world,
I'll give you anything, everything, if you weant things
I've got a clan of gingerbread men,
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men
Take a couple if you wish they're on the dish
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world,
I'll give you anything, everything, if you weant things
I know a room of musical tunes,
Some rhyme some ching most of them are clock work
let's go into the other room and make them work

Thank you for the contribution.
I would like to offer a refinement.
In "Flaming" (one of my favorite songs btw), each verse ends with the chords D, F, E.
On the last verse, it has a grand extended ending in harmony with the ending of the melody. The chords at the end of this final verse should be D, F, A, G, F, A.

well, you have quite a good ear. your chords match the music well. your knowledge of basic theory, however, could use a little work (the chords in matilda mother are just plain major chords the way you wrote it). Overall, this is a decent general picture.
