[Intro]:

A7sus-F#m7--; (3x)
A7sus-F#m7-Bm7 pause

        A7sus
Spending all my nights
                        F#m7
All my money goin out on the town
A7sus
Doin’ anything’ just to get you over
        F#m7
my mind
                A7sus
But when the mornin’ comes
                            F#m7
I’m right back where I started again
        A7sus B7sus B7
And tryin’ to forget you is just a waste of time

without you. F#m7

 A7sus F#m7
All day long
Wearin’ a mask of false bravado
Tryin’ to keep up a smile that hides a tear
But as the sun goes down I get that empty feelin’ again
A7sus B7sus B7
How I wish to God that you were here

N.C.(repeat chorus except last 2 words)

         Bm7 CM7pause-A7sus pause
… without you A7sus pause

[Bridge]
FM7 CM7
(now that I put it all together)

(Give me the chance to make you see)
FM7 Em7
(Have you used up all the love in
        Am7
your heart)
A7sus
Nothin’ left for me
            A7sus A7sus
And now nothin’ left for me

[repeat chorus except last word]

        Bm7 pause
…you

Same chord technically, but instead of playing the "A7sus" try a G/A or "A over G". In other words, a G chord with an A in the bass. Play it like this: 5x543x. Really brings out the yacht rocky sound... And a nice thing about that form is its movable (move it up 2 for the B7sus, etc).

The chords in the verse are right on the money.
