[Verse 1]

A A A
You took my hand, You showed me how
 		    A Bm F#m E	E
You promised me you'd be around, Uh huh, That's right

A A A
I took your words, And I believed,
A Bm F#m E	E
In everything, You said to me, Uh huh, That's right

[Chorus]

      D E F#m
If someone said three years from now
          A
You'd be long gone
      D E F#m
I'd stand up and punch them out
               A
Cause they're all wrong
D E
   I know better
F#m A
   Cause you said forever
D E
   And ever Who knew

[Instrumental]
(Intro part x2)

[Verse 2]

A A A
Remember when we were such fools

    A Bm F#m E	E
And so convinced and just too cool, Oh no No no

A A A
I wish I could touch you again
A Bm F#m E E
I wish I could still call you friend, I'd give anything

[Chorus]

       D E F#m
When someone said count your blessings now
        A
For they're long gone
    D E F#m
I guess I just didn't know how
       A
I was all wrong
D E F#m A
They knew better Still you said forever
D E
   And ever Who knew

[Instrumental]
(Intro part x2)

Yeah yeah

[Bridge]

Bm F#m
I'll keep you locked in my head
E E
     Until we meet again
A
Until we, Until we meet again
Bm F#m
And I won't forget you my friend
E E
     What happened

[Chorus]

      D E F#m
If someone said three years from now
           A
You’d be long gone
      D E F#m
I'd stand up and punch them out
               A
Cause they're all wrong

D E F#m A
That last kiss I'll cherish Until we meet again
D E F#m A
And time makes It harder I wish I could remember
D E F#m A
But I keep Your memory You visit me in my sleep
D E
   My darling Who knew

[Outro]

A A
   My darling Who knew
A A
   My darling I miss you
A A
   My darling Who Knew

[Instrumental]
(Intro part x2)

      A
Who knew

well done on the tab. Fantastic song. Try putting a cappo on the 2nd fret and transposing the chord shapes (ie: A=G) It becomes much easier to play and by using your third finger on and off the B string on 5th fret you can get that much closer to the riff played on the track.
