D Dm

Verse:
A
diamonds shine like stars under the ground
C#m
little rivers run in rings around the town
A7/(G)
everyone's a soldier
     F#m
just marching towards the ocean

Chorus:

D Dm
so we packed up all we had and moved in '93

A
everyone is golden
everyone is golden
C#m
nobody will love them
nobody will love them
A
everyone is golden now
everyone is golden
C#m
everyone is golden now
everyone is golden

A C#m
and we took a train into the town
    A7
and stuck another needle in the ground
    F#m
and if we never made another sound then we know

Chorus

E

and i lift you up
D Dm
gathered around the school to hear just what they found
A
they told us they had tried
C#m
still the little boy had died
D Dm
we gathered around to hear just what they'd done

A C#m
yeah, they shined like stars under the ground
    A7
and everyone's a soldier
     F#m
just marching towards the ocean

Chorus (until it stops)

Enjoy

Bass goes A Ab G F# in the Verse ; )

If you use Amaj7 for the first chord you can do the fill on the G string (6h9-6-6h9-6) and the C#m fill can be done the same way on the B string (5h7-5h7...). Haven't quite figured out the last part though (which definitely has a G in the chord). The fill just goes one string lower (5h7-5h7...s9-7-5-7-5-s9-7-5)

In this acoustic live performance, he looks to be playing a type of G chord where this tab has the A7/G. I think he is playing xx5430 or maybe 3x5430. They both sound good. You can also see other chord voicings in the video.

This tab is good, very close.
