Spaceship (2009) - Puddle of Mudd
Tablature by Ian Marquis
Email: marquisij@gmail.com
Tuning: Standard (EADGBE)

Alright, I'll admit it - this song is pretty dumb, but it's also
catchy as hell. There aren't any tabs written for it yet, so I
thought I'd try my hand at one. By ear, of course. Parts are in
order of appearance.

Main Riff:

Lead Bends:

Bridge to Verse:

|--3-3-3-3-4-4-4-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7--| (Repeat 2x)

Lead Bends 2:

|--6-------------| Play the first bend and release
|--9b^r----6-----| quickly, 8 times, and the second
|----------8b^r--| 5 times, the last time bending
|----------------| slowly with no release.

Lead Thing #3:

|-----------------------------------| (Repeat 2x)

Order of Parts:

Drum Intro with Noise
Main Riff 1X (heavy)
Main Riff on Bass (second half with Lead Bends)
Main Riff 1X (Funky Clean)
Main Riff 1X (Heavy)
Bridge to Verse
Main Riff .5X (with Lead Bends 2)
Main Riff 1X(Funky Clean - second half with Lead Bends)
Main Riff 1X(Funky Clean, with Lead Thing #3)
Main Riff 1X(Heavy)

...you know what? Screw this - you get the idea. The whole song
is the same four chords. Listen to the damn thing. You'll get it.

I tabbed this out a few days ago too and your tab matches mine bout exactly. Such a silly, stupid, pathetic song haha, yet I even have to admit it is catchy as hell, loved the comment at the end of your tab.

Agree with both of you lol, but after the lead bends in the second verse I think there's a different palm muted riff which isn't tabbed. Otherwise it's good.

Lol, I have no idea why I am on this tab, but the makeshift D# chord (x888xx) in the main riff is just a D power chord.
