We have an official Avon tab made by UG professional guitarists.
Check out the tab
Artist: Queens of the Stone Age
Song: AVON
Album: Queens Of The Stone Age (Self-Titled)
Year: 1998
Tuning: E (standard)
Tabber: Martin Jørgensen

Once again I've chosen to tab a QOTSA song in an E standard
tuning. Normally Josh tunes his guitar down 2 steps to
C but for us who don't want to retune our guitars during
a show this is another way to do it.

Play this before the singing begins.
This is not written down 100% correctly... you'll have to listen to the song
to get the rhythm but I'm pretty sure that it's downstrokes all of 'em

 [Gtr. I+II][Guitar I + II: Main Riff 2x

[Chorus 1]

The same thing again. You'll have to listen to the song to get the pattern.
Both choruses are almost the same except that it's played like 1½ times the first time.

Hey this is very good, this tab, thank you. The start is very accurate to a live performance i saw on you tube. I don't think Josh lets the notes ring on the intro part, coz he's doing something different on stage, but hey, this is fine for me. By the way, this song is from their self titled album, in 1998, not Songs for the deaf. Thanx again. 5/5

Yeah... dno why I wrote "song for the deaf"... Well minor mistake... the Tab itself should be good enough though... My mistake...
