[Verse 1]

Dmaj6add9 Em Bm
Oh life is bigger, it's bigger than you.
            Em Bm
And you are not me, the lengths that I will go to.
                           Em
The distance in your eyes.
Bm Am Dmaj6add9
Oh no, I've said too much, I've said enough.
                         Em Bm
That's me in the corner, That's me in the spot light,
                    Em Bm
Losing my religion. Trying to keep up with you.
      Em
And I don't know if I can do it.
Bm Am Dmaj6add9
Oh no, I've said too much, I haven't said enough.

[Chorus]

                           C
I thought that I heard you laughing.
C Dmaj6add9 Em
I thought that I heard you sing.
  C Dmaj6add9 Em
I think I thought I saw you try.

[Verse 2]

          Em
Every whisper,
             Bm Em
Every waking hour, I'm choosing my confessions.
          Bm
Trying to keep eye on you.
       Em
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool, fool.
Bm Am Dmaj6add9
Oh no, I've said too much. I said enough.
               Em Bm
Consider this, consider this hint of the century.
               Em Bm
Consider this, the slip, that brought me to my knees pale.
Em Bm
What if all these fantasies come flaming aground.
         Am Dmaj6add9
Now I've said too much.

[Chorus]

                           C
I thought that I heard you laughing.
C Dmaj6add9 Em
I thought that I heard you sing.
  C Dmaj6add9 Em
I think I thought I saw you try.

Sorry guys, made a mistake on the interlude...should be

---000-0-00-00-0--------------------------------|
---000-0-00-00-0--------------------------------|
---444-2-22-00-0--------------------------------|
---222-2-22-55-2--------------------------------|
---222-2-22-22-2--------------------------------|
---000-0-00-00-0--------------------------------|

Also, just a side note you could play just a regular open D instead of the Dmaj6add9 (open C moved up a whole step). I just liked the sound of that chord a little better.
