Hey, On the part where you wrote "This part here starts when Thom Sings "Grass is green...."", I'm pretty sure you transcribed the notes to the right strings. In particular, you posted this as the guitar part for that section: Guitar 3: e|-----------------7p4p0------------------------------------------| B|----------------------6-4---------------------------------------| G|--------------------------6-4-----------------------------------| D|------------------------------6---------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------------------|4x Although playing the F and Eb notes on the B string (B|---6-4|) doesn't make sense with the overall key of the song (E major). I'm pretty sure those are the right frets, but the they should be played on the G string (G|---6-4|), this fits in with the notes of the E major scale (the sixth fret is C# which is the major 6th of the E major scale, and the fourth fret is a B, the fifth of E major). The same goes for the same fingering played on the G string (G|---6-4|). I think they should be translated to the D string (|---6-4|), and finally the final note on the D string (D|---6|), in my opinion, should be fretted on the second fret of the D string, playing the 8th (the octave of the root, E). I think Johnny is spelling out the C# minor chord in that section, because he definitely outlines the chord (C# E G# B) in the first part of the riff. Anyways, I hope this makes sense and let me know if I need to explain a little better.
