Verse

G D
Out among the stars I sail
C Dsus2 D
Way beyond the moon
G D
In my silver ship I sail
C Dsus2 D

Now I know exactly
      G D/F# Em D C A7
Who I am, and what I'm here for
    G D G
And I will go sailing no more

G D
All the things I thought I'd be,

All the brave things I'd done
G D
Vanished like a snowflake,

Never more to sail my ship,
      G D/F# Em D C A7
Where no man has gone before

And I will go sailing no more

like a bird in the sky,
      Db Ab
If I believe I could fly

How is A7(13) Played?

^ F#7 works just as well. And I feel like the D in the first and third line of the verse sounds a better as a G/D.

I would play A7(13) as:

E|-2-|
B|-2-|
G|-0-|
D|-2-|
A|-0-|
E|---|

but I agree, F#7 does work just as well, if not better
