Crying Time:Ray Charles.
#1 Adult Contemp., #5 R&B and #6 Rock in 1965.

               (Capo 1st fret.)

[Chorus]

G D
Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me.
D7 G
I can see that far away look, in your eyes.
G7 C
I can tell by the way you hold me, darling.
        G D G
That it won't be long, before it's crying time.

#1.
G D
Now, they say that absence, makes the heart grow fonder.
D7 G
And that tears are only rain to make love grow.
G7 C
Well, my love for you could never grow, no stronger.
     G D G
If I lived to be a hundred years old.

[Chorus]

G D
Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me.
D7 G
I can see that far away look, in your eyes.
G7 C
I can tell by the way you hold me, darling.
        G D G
That it won't be long, before it's crying time.

[Interlude]

#2.
G D
Now, you say you've found someone that you love better.
D7 G
Well, that's the way it's happened, every time before.
G7 C
And as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow,
       G D G
crying time will start when you walk out the door.

[Chorus]

G D
Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me.
D7 G
I can see that far away look, in your eyes.
G7 C
I can tell by the way you hold me, darling.
        G D G
That it won't be long, before it's crying time.

On the last G in the chorus and verse, I like to play G Cadd9 G. There is also certain spots where I like playing a C7 after one of the Cs in the verse.

Cody121404..Thanks, mate. Bet you're playing that G Cadd9 G
on electric guitar. Might be a little tricky for a beginner.
Don't get me wrong, what you're doing sounds good.
Anybody else want to change it?? Let me know.
Thanks for the input, mate. KK.
