Haha wow. So basically, if you're not already great at music then you should stop trying. Some people want just want to learn 3 chord songs for reasons of their own, music is for everyone and as a music instructor I encourage everyone of every age and level to pursue music if that's what makes them happy. Music is a beautiful and very theraputic outlet, who are you or I to tell anyone any different or make them feel inferior for wanting to be a part of such a beautiful profession?
