This is a great song covered by Mr Ray Stevens.
How ever the chord progression goes as this.
D//Dj7(Dmajor7)//D7// G etc..
and after the D is Ebdim....Em A7 A7+ or sus
I used to play this song on keys in Eb...
But it is simpler to play and sing in the key of D

One of the members asked me for a fairly simple version
of this song. This was as simple as I could make it
without screwing it up. There are a lot of tricky
chords in the Johnny Mathis song so that's why I picked
on Ray Steven's version and tabbed it that way (above.)
