On the chorus, there is some mistakes. The correct order is: Am G C / Am D Em / Am G C / Am D Em

It sounds kinda like a rhythm comping style, sorta like jazzy funk rhythm chording... Kinda like The Meters or something.... Also sounds more like the root chord is a maybe/sometimes a maj7th chord, not just a Major... and there also sounds like some Major add 6th, or Major add 13(only) chords that slide around in there also somewhere... Maybe an altered C chord shape or something, definitely some jazzy chords in there!!As far as the rhythm goes, just listen to the Bass/Drums-- it kinda goes around the beat, both ahead and behind the beat... just make sure you got the ONE beat on the first of each measure (for the most part)... the other stuff is just chords sliding around like back and forth 2 frets, etc.Try playing the rhythm on your guitar while you hold all the strings muted with your fret hand... see if you can hammer out the beat count on your strum hand... keep in mind much of what you hear is hammer-ons, and pull-offs, glissandos (gentle slides of notes up or down,SMOOTHLY) and on the "Rivers part" it is using some kind of heavy washy effect. Not sure... Remember there are just one or two strings on some runs in the whole song, etc. just a few catch riffs, or hooks here and there. Solo is easy, and ends using "double-stops" to go back to chord tones in the home key, or "Root"!Good luck!!
