Equipment: John Frusciante plays a Fender Strat into a clean Marshall amp.
           For the break, he uses a steel-string dreadnaught acoustic.

To get those high pitched notes at the beginning, turn the volume knob down
and play, then increase the volume so it fades in.  Add some delay and
reverb to add to the spaciness.

I see Sw4tf4lc0n was watching the Slane castle DVD (?), cos the final chord of the sequence you tabbed out is how John played it there :D. Fantastic tab though, five stars! Just thought Id be pointless about the slane castle bit :P
