Capo on 3rd fret
[Verse 1]
G D
It started out as a feeling
Em C
Which then grew into a hope
G D
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Em C
Which then turned into a quiet word
D D7
And then that word grew louder and louder
G D Em
'Til it was a battle cry
[Chorus]
C
I'll come back
D G
When you call me
Em D
No need to say goodbye
[Verse 2]
G D
Just because everything's changing
Em C
Doesn't mean it's never been this way before
G D
All you can do is try to know who your friends are
Em C
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon
G D Em
And follow the light
[Chorus]
C
You'll come back
D G
When it's over

No need to say goodbye

You'll come back

When it's over

[Verse 3]

Now we're back to the beginning
Em C
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet

Doesn't mean that you have to forget
D D7
Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
G D Em
'Til they're before your eyes
[Chorus]

You'll come back

When they call you

No need to say goodbye

I don't agree in all those "corrections"... I think it was nice, easy to play. Maybe he has a good point in the Em should be C.. but I think the rest of it was bull shit..

I usually just figure it out on my own. Strum patterns are usless to me.
