This tab is more accurate to the original version than my last tab (hopefully). If you have watched any
Richie Havens live videos you will notice that his technique is quite unique and requires a long thumb.
First you'll have to tune to open D then you are be ready to go. All major minor shapes are the same
fingering through-out.

Em7add11: thumb on the second fret and use your first finger for the first fret and second finger for second
fret.
Bm7: barre the seventh fret with your thumb. First time you play this just play the bass note by itself.
Bm: barre the seventh fret with your thumb and fret pinky ring and first for 9 9 8 respectively.
A7sus4add9: barre the seventh fret with your thumb and barre the fifth fret with your first finger (bit
of a stretch).
A7: Same as A7sus4add 9, even more of a stretch.
Gmaj7: barre the fifth fret with your thumb and fret the fourth fret with your first finger. During the
song he sometimes play the seventh fret with his pinky.
