G|-----6---------6------13--------13-------|

A|-----4---------4------11--------11-------|

[Verse 1]
C# A
In fields where nothing grew but weeds,
                       E
I found a flower at my feet,
        B F# D# D# E
 (single strum)
Bending there in my direction,
C# A
I wrapped a hand around its stem,
                              E
I pulled until the roots gave in,
        B F#
Finding there what I’d been missing,
D# D# E D# B
        But I know…
C# A G# F#
So I tell myself, I tell myself it’s wrong.
G# C# A G# F#
There’s a point we pass from which we can’t return.
G# E F# A G# F#
I felt the cold rain of the coming storm.

[Hook]
               C#
All because of you,
                   E
I haven’t slept in so long.
             B A
When I do I dream of drowning in the ocean,
                C# E
Longing for the shore where I can lay my head down,
                 B
I’ll follow your voice,
A (ring out when strum on "out")
All you have to do is shout it out.

[Instrumental]
e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|-----6---------6------13--------16-------|
D|-----x---------x-------x--------x--------|
A|-----4---------4------11--------14-------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

[Verse 2]
C# A
Inside my hands these petals browned,
                        E
Dried up, falen n to the ground
           B F# D# D# E
D# (single strum)
But it was already too late now.
C# A
I pushed my fingers through the earth,
                            E
Returned this flower to the dirt,
            B F#
So it could live. I walked away now.

[Instrumental]
D# D# E D# B
        But I know…

[Pre-Hook]
      C# A G# F#
Not a day goes by that I don’t feel this burn.
G# C# A G# F#
There’s a point we pass from which we can’t return.
G# E F# A G# F#
I felt the cold rain of the coming storm.

[Hook]
               C#
All because of you,
                   E
I haven’t slept in so long.
             B A
When I do I dream of drowning in the ocean,
                C# E
Longing for the shore where I can lay my head down,
                 B
I’ll follow your voice,
A (it ring out when strum on "out")
All you have to do is shout it out.

If you watch this version of Tim playing it - you will see that (as with most RA songs that hte guitars are tuned down 1/2 a step and its in Dminor

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx5x5EDnVHA&feature=related

Also the C# chords are either octaves or all minors not majors
