They rejected my new version! Too similar! Seems silly. The other changes I made, aside from the 3 chords above: The 3 sections "There's a soul in the city" I labeled [Refrain]. The 2 sections "Doo doo ..." I labeled [Theme]. Verse 3 "Listen, I got plans ..." I labeled [Bridge].

I'm no expert, but I think in the Pre-Chorus the A should be an F#m and the chord associated with the word "waitin'" should be a C#m.

Wow nice job. This song is much more complex than the average pop song. I’m going to do a new tab to reflect my thinking. I think these chords are all correct except for Verse 3, which I’m going to call the bridge.
