Hi. Looking at the live BBC version it sounds like the basic verse chords are G to Am7. Probably open tuned as the man said with a capo. Love this song

This tabbed version is fine for standard tuning, albeit in G (capo at the third fret). The chord progression is OK, but to be at the same pitch as the live version on Youtube it should be in F (capo first fret). On that live version Ronnie is in open D tuning with the capo at the 3rd fret, so playing in F. It's relative simple to play and the open D gives it a great airy sound. Chords are F (so all open with a hammer on at the 4th and 5th stings at fret 2 to get the groove), G minor (E6 shape will give you this in open D), Chorus chords are Dm (slide the E6 shape up to 8th fret relative to the capo for this) then Am (same E6 shape at 3rd fret relative to capo) and then back to Gm (E6 shape). Fretted strings for E6 shape are: (5th string 2nd fret, 4th string 2nd fret, 3rd string 1st fret).
