the hammer on and pull off are meant to be done pretty fast.
If the pull off is too hard to do that fast you don't have to pull off
you can just lift your finger off the 7. Similar to a really short trill.
[verse 1 and intro] (Lauren's acoustic part)
e |----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B |----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G |-------6------------------6h7p6---—-------6--------------------6h7p6-6------|
D |----4----4-------------4--------7-—----4-----4--------------4---------------|
A |-5-----------0--2---5---------------5------------0--2----5------------------|
E |----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Alternatively, you can bend the 6 down and then pluck 7 on D instead of hammer on and pull off.
*Repeats for pretty much the whole song
verse 2 begins after the bridge at lyrics "and we've been waiting for it"
-The following are for the electric guitar
*the Acoustic guitar just repeats the above.
[Verse 2] (Jordan's electric guitar)
e |---------------------—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B |----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G |----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D |---------11b—--------------11b---------------------------------11b-------------11br-----------------------|
A |-----12------12-------12--------12------9---9---7---7-------12-----12------12-------12-----9---9---7-—-7--|
E |-10------—--------10-----------------7---7---5---5------10-------------10----------------7---7---5---5----|
the guitar player does a mixture of br and b, it's hard to tell,
you should play whichever feels right for you
For B: bend down in pitch not up And do not "release".
For Br: bend down and back up to original pitch "release"
you can hammer on the 12 but you don't have to it just sounds smoother
[Outro] (Jordan)
this repeats till the end
e |-------—--—------------|
B |-----------------------|
G |-----------------------|
D |--------11br-----------|
A |-----12------12h-------|
E |-10--------------------|
Hammer on is optional of course
