INDIGO
As recorded by Sam Barber feat. Avery Anna
(From the 2024 Album RESTLESS MIND)

[Intro]
C D Em C D Em

[Verse 1]
C D Em
I know you're worried at night I won't find my way
        C D Em
And I'm tired of lying to myself just to get through each day
   C D
My head says I should have never left, and that my feet will soon lead to my death

[Pre-Chorus]
                C D Em
I'm starting to question if God’s trying to teach me a lesson
                C D Em
I'm starting to wonder if my true colors changed since I left ya

[Chorus]
          D Em D C
I used to shine bright like gold, now I'm all indigo
              D Em
My colors are darker and cold
                       D C
I think it's time that I went home
                                         D Em
And I don't understand why I always feel dead and alone
          D Em
I used to shine bright like gold
            D C
Now I'm all indigo

[Verse 2]
C D Em
Gave up a piece of my heart then I turned to run
       C D Em
Oh, my head is in the clouds but I don't feel close to the sun
        C D Em
And the light fades away from my face and the tears fall like rain
         C D Em
And so I turn my words all into faith, hope it's me that they save

[Pre-Chorus]
    D C D Em
I'm starting to question if god’s trying to teach me a lesson
                           C D Em
Lord knows I'm starting to wonder if my true colors changed since I left ya

[Chorus]
          D Em D C
I used to shine bright like gold, now I'm all indigo
              D Em
My colors are darker and cold
                       D C
I think it's time that I went home
                                         D Em

          D Em
I used to shine bright like gold
            D C
Now I'm all indigo

[Bridge]
    D C D Em

Love this thanks for putting it out!! One thing I noticed in the video, and correct me if I’m wrong. It looks like instead of c he’s doing c/g and instead of d he slides the c/g down 2 frets

Perfect tab thank you! This song is in standard no capo needed unless matching to your own voice. For the D chord just hold C/G chord but just slide up two frets.
