Bm D

[Verse 1]

Bm D
   I've been here before
Bm D
   But always hit the floor
     G
I've spent a lifetime running
      F#
And I always get away
         G
But with you I'm feeling something
     F#
That makes me want to stay

Bm D
   I'm prepared for this
Bm D
   I never shoot to miss
      G
But I feel like a storm is coming
             F#
If I'm gonna make it through the day
             G
Then there's no more use in running
        F#
This is something I gotta face

[Pre-Chorus]

Bm D G
   If I risk it all
Bm D F#
   Could you break my fall?

[Chorus]

         Bm A
How do I live? How do I breathe?
                G A
When you're not here I'm suffocating
               Bm A
I want to feel love, run through my blood
           G F#
Tell me is this where I give it all up?
    Em F#
For you I have to risk it all
                           Bm D
Cause the writing's on the wall

[Verse 2]

Bm D
   A million shards of glass
Bm D
That haunt me from my past
       G
As the stars begin to gather
        F#
And the light begins to fade
         G
When all hope begins to shatter
          F#
Know that I won't be afraid

[Pre-Chorus]

Bm D G
   If I risk it all
Bm D F#
   Could you break my fall?

[Chorus] "Tell me is this where I give it all up?" That first F# should be a A major chord again.

I play it with capo on 2nd fret and play it Am instead of Bm, G instead of A etc. Sounds good and suits my voice better

After playing this several times while listening to the original track, I would like to suggest a few changes. 1. This chart should be played with the capo on the first fret, not the sixth, if you want it in the key of the recording. 2. In the verses, it's EmAdd9 and Gmaj7, not Em and G, though you can get away with playing a straight Em and G. EmAdd9 and Gmaj7 add drama and tension. 3. At "for you, I have to risk it all" where it ends on B, it actually goes from B to B7.
