Black Dream Tab

I've tried to be analytical and accurate with this tab. Playing the main riff on an F power chord chord on the A string sounds closer to the original recording instead of an F power chord on the first fret of the E string. It sounds tighter and it is easier and more logical to play. I also have included an alternative version of a short fill there is in the song and the final closing simple melody. I've included some of the lyrics in order one could follow the tab easier. Was this info helpful?

Main Riff, all power chords
(3 string power chords or just two, whatever you prefer):

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------9---------------------------------------------|
G|---------10-----------------8-------8--------6----------------------------|
D|---------10---------------6---------8--------6----------------------------|
A|------8------8-8-8-8-------------6--------4-------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------| 8 Times

(Staccato, palm muted strumming on A string, all downstrokes)

Second Part:

(Pretty pretty black dream, Give me infinity's kiss... )

e|---------------------|
B|---------------------|
G|-------5-------6-----|
D|-------5-------6-----|
A|----3-------4--------|
E|---------------------| 4 Times

('Cause I want it and I need it... )

e|---------------------|
B|--------6-------7----|
G|--------5-------6----|
D|-----3-------4-------|
A|---------------------|
E|---------------------| 4 Times

 Fill:

e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|-------5-------6-------8-------10-------------|
D|-------5-------6-------8-------10-------------|
A|----3-------4-------6-------8-----------------|
E|----------------------------------------------| one Time

***OR***

e|---------------------|
B|---------------------|
G|-------5-------6-----|
D|-------5-------6-----|
A|----3-------4--------|
E|---------------------| 2 Times

Whichever sounds better to you. The background keyboards/effects and the echoey recording make it tricky.

Repeat main riff 8 times
Repeat second part
Repeat fill

Then there is this part (Where Danzig shouts Go, Go....) :

e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|
G|--------10------------------|
D|--------10------------------|
A|------8-----8-8-8-8-8-8-----|
E|----------------------------| 4 Times

(Palm muted strumming on an F power chord basically)

You can also play it starting on the first fret of E string to make it sound heavier, like that:

e|---------------------------|
B|---------------------------|
G|---------------------------|
D|---------3-----------------|
A|---------3-----------------|
E|------1-----1-1-1-1-1-1----| 4 Times

Simple melody before the ending:

(When you come I'll be waiting here)

e|------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------|
G|------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------|
A|----3----4-----6-----8--------------------| 2 Times
E|------------------------------------------|

End the song on an F power chord

e|---------------------------|
B|---------------------------|
G|--------10-----------------|
D|--------10-----------------|
A|----8----------------------|
E|---------------------------|
