I looked at his fingers and listened very closely. I'm almost 100% sure this is exactly how he's playing it.
Feel free to deviate and put your own spin on it (and be sure to fix your hair a lot ;))! The chords are 
just different builds/voicings onto the normal E Minor, G Major, C Major, and D Major chords essentially. 
(Oh and just as a disclaimer, his version has some different lyrics than BMTH)
