One Last Goodbye
(Standard/half-step down)
Tabbed by Cameron K. Beattie
I tabbed this out using my ear, but I've played
it over and it sounds pretty accurate. Please note
that you must correctly understand the rhythm to
apply the notes in accordance to the lyrics, but
I've done my best to make it easier for you. Enjoy!

* MAY not be correct, but it works

E|x x x x

Am, C, F, C, G
Am, Em, F, C, G, Am, G

        [VERSE 1]
      F/A G/A
Don't want you to go, is there no other way?
     Em Am
I'll cherish this last kiss goodbye
        F G Am F/A
I will care for all you leave behind
We won't let you go alone
        F/A G/A D/C
But we have made a tragic decision,
             C D/C* Em*
Because your wounds won't heal
          C D/C
It's the final solution

When every day hurts
                   D/C** C
And tears keep on falling, we're letting you go
      G D
The shadows are calling
One last goodbye
We're all here beside you
C G Em C
Your soul will fade like a rose in the dark,
         D/C** B C D/C, Em!, C, D/C
But your memo--ry remains

        [VERSE 2]
F/A G/A
Night after night, living a dream
F/A C G
Finally feeling my blood again
The notes in that song
       G/A Am, F/A
Kept my heart beating strong all the wa---y,
I can see clearly now
    F/A G/A D/C
I'm tired of constantly sleeping
       C D/C Em*
I will open my eyes again
    C D/C**
So ready to live now

[CHORUS] Like the first with the exception of the following:
         D/C** C D/C
But your memory remains

Gm Dm D#
I'm flying high, aim for paradise
    A# F Gm
I'm hungry for life again
Ohh Wha--t a rush
Hold my family!
    B D# G#
I'm never letting go!

Same as prechorus, adding a half-step.

Under the solo, I think the first half of the prechorus, shifted up one semitone, is repeated twice, and at the end of the second repeat the chords A and B are then used to bridge back to the chorus...
G#m D#m E B F#
G#m D#m E B F#

Em... rest of chorus
