Almost Over You

Verse 1

G#                                   Eb/G#
I saw an old friend of ours today,
C#                A#m7                                             D#
She asked about you, I didn't quite know what to say
G#                                            Cm
Heard you been makin the rounds' round here
C#                        A#m7                                          D#
While I've been trying to make tears disappear.

Chorus:

         G#                 Cm       C#
Now I'm almost over you,
          Bbm      Eb             G#
I've almost shook this blues;
                                              G#/C
So when you come back around
   Bb7
After paintin' the town
                           Bbm     Eb     G#
You'll see I'm almost over you

Verse 2

G#                                                      A#m7
You're such a sly one with your cold, cold heart
            C#                    A#m7                           D#
Maybe leavin' came easy but it tore me apart;
G#                                                          A#m7
Time heals all wounds they say and I should know
                       C#                 A#m7                                  D#
Cause they seems like forever but I'm lettin you go

Repeat Chorus:

Bridge:

Fm
I can forgive you as soon and i'll forget
            C#                         Eb
All my shattered dreams;
Fm
Although you left me with nothing to show
           D          E
Only memories

Chorus:

         A                  C#m       D
Now I'm almost over you,
          Bm      E                  A
I've almost shook this blues;
                                              A/C#
So when you come back around
   B7
After paintin' the town
                           Bm     E        A
You'll see I'm almost over you

Ending:
                   A                       A/C#
When you come back around
              B7
After paintin the town
                          Bbm
You'll see I'm almost
   E     A
Over you

Always write your chord charts using Courier New instead of Times New Roman. If you use it, you can simply cut and paste and it will be perfectly formatted.
