left out notes in the verse and the bridge. here's a better way. The verse is exact. The bridge is a little extra, but it's musically correct and sounds awesome.
Drop D:
verse pre-bridge
G|--------------------------||---------------|----------------------------|
D|-------------------------*||---------------|----------------------------|
A|----5--35---------3------*||---------------|----------------------------|
D|0-----------0-3-5---5-3---||-0--00-0---0---|-0--33--55--77--1010--10--12|
repeat repeat x3
bridge
|-----7---7---------5-----------5---5----------5-----
|---------------5-7---7-5------------------5-7---7-5-
|-5------5----5-------------3------3-----3-----------
|----------------------------------------------------

|-------------------5-------------------------5------|
|-----3---3-----5-7---7-5-------5---5-----5-7---7-5-*|
|---------------------------------------------------*|
|-3------3----3-------------5------5----5------------|

you got the Chorus stuff close enough. It's technically correct, but it sounds a bit too powerful that high on the low D string. I recommend playing the D on the A string 5th fret, rather than the low D string 12th fret. Change the other notes accordingly.

I myself play the song in drop C#, which is drop D, but a half step down. It changes some of the fretting to show off and add to the challenge factor. Most of the song is the same, just one fret higher, but the pre/post chorus and the verse are a bit different.

Pre/post chorus and intro
C#|-11-\1/4-6-4---1-1---11-\1/4-6-4---4-4-|

Verse
C#|-----1--------------------|
G#|--------46---------4------|
C#|-1-----------1/4-6---6-4--|

I highly recommend playing this a half step down. It takes a bit more practice but it's very impressive when it's all done.
