Sleep is a stoner metal group (reminiscent of Black Sabbath)from the 1990's.
This particular number is the lead track on their second full-length "Sleep's
Holy Mountain", released in 1993 on Earache Records. The guitarist (Matt Pike)
went on to form High on Fire.

Tabbed by: The Iron Fist

Tuning: Drop-D down one whole step
I have been unable to find Sleep tabs anywhere, so I decided to take care of the problem
myself. I've left out all the palm muting and the solo.
Enjoy!

Thanks for this! Now my apartment feels even more like a scene out of that movie Gummo. Some more Sleep or High on Fire tabs please. Please?

Matt Pike has ALWAYS used C standard tuning. NEVER Drop C. NEVER.
Drop tuning is for newbs who can't move their powerchords.

To HC-Deathnob
Sleep tracks can be played in drop c its just a case of moving the higher register down. If you think you can do a better job then show us how its done, untill then keep your derogatory comments to youself. And as far as drop tunings for newbies erm Tony Iommi, Jimmy Page, would you like me to carry on? Great effort on this tab
