Breakdown:

A second guitar very slowly pick-scrapes
on the A string at the end of [Fig. 1] the
1st time it is played, until the following:

The notes marked by asterisks are played
with a lot of tremolo. You can fret these
notes with your little finger.

The 14b16 note should be kept bent
throughout [Fig. 11]; don't release
it back to the 14th fret.

Bridge/Outro:

[Fig. 2] x 9

On the fourth time [Fig. 2]
is played, play the following
two figures six times:

LYRICS:
-------
Goodnight my love,
Remember me as you fall to sleep,
Fill your pockets with the dust and the memories,
That rises from the shoes on my feet.

I won't be back here,
Though we may meet again.

I know it's dark outside,
Don't be afraid,
Everytime I ever cried from fear,
Was just a mistake that I made,
Wash yourself in your tears,
And build your church,
On the strength of your faith.

Please,
Listen to me,
Don't let go,
Don't let this desperate moonlight leave me,
With your empty pillow,
Promise me the sun will rise again.

I too am tired now,
Embracing thoughts of tonight's dreamless sleep,
My head is empty,
My toes are warm,
I am safe from harm...

Great job and I agree with rs1442's way of playing [fig. 7]. My correction/suggestion is that the main guitar theme is actually two separate guitar parts, with one being: [Fig. 2 - Main guitar theme for guitar 1] e|-------------------------------------------------------------| B|------8----8----7----7----7\----3-----3----3---------0---0~--| G|----0----0----0----0----0-----0-----0----0------0--3---3-----| D|----------------------------------------------1--------------| A|--7----7----7----7----7-----3-----3----3----3----------------| E|-------------------------------------------------------------| [Fig. 2 - Main guitar theme] e|-------------------------------------------------------------| B|------0-----0--------------0~----0~--------------------------| G|-----0-----0--------------------0----------------------------| D|---------------------------------------------------3~--------| A|------------------------------------------------1~-----------| E|--0------7~-----------6~---s3~-------------------------------| Not positive about how that's played exactly, but I'm pretty sure it's along those lines and those root notes. You can tell the two parts are separate at the end of the song when guitar 1 plays [fig. 12].

Very nice tab! The only thing I'd change is how to play the first half of Fig. 7. Instead of: [tab] e|----------------------------------| B|----------------------------------| G|----------------------------------| D|----2-----2---2-----2-----2-------| A|------5-----5-----5-----5---------| E|--0-----0-------6-----6-----6s----| [/tab] I play it like this: [tab] e|----------------------------------| B|----------------------------------| G|----------------------------------| D|------0-----0-----0-----0---------| A|----7-----7---7-----7-----7-------| E|--0-----0-------6-----6-----6s----| [/tab] I find this way is much easier than stretching from the 6th to the 2nd fret.
