[Verse 1 ]
     C/G D
Listen close and don't be stoned
                     C/G D
I'll be here in the morning 'cause I'm just floating
C/G D
Your cigarette still burns
                          C/G
Your messed-up world will thrill me
     D
Alison, I'm lost

[Chorus 1 ]
  G C/G
"Alison," I said, "We're sinking"
 G C/G
There's nothing here but that's okay
Bm C/G
Outside your room, your sister's spinning
         Am G
But she lies, tells me she's just fine
    D C/G
I guess she's out there somewhere

[Verse 2]
   C/G D
And the sailors, they strike poses
            C/G D
TV covered walls and so slowly
 C/G D
With your talking and your pills
                            C/G
Your messed-up life still thrills me
     D
Alison, I'm lost

[Chorus 2]
G C/G
Alison, I'll drink your wine
G C/G
I wear your clothes when we're both high
Bm C/G
"Alison," I said, "We're sinking"
         Am G
But you laugh and tell me it's just fine
    D C/G
I guess she's out there somewhere

Fantastic job there. That's exactly how Neil plays it on acoustic. Thank you

From the video, it looks like instead of the D in the second verse he plays the C/G up two frets.
