This is my acoustic version of my favorite song that I love to strum along to.
e|--0--------------0----|
B|--2----4----7----0----|
G|--1----4----7----1----|
D|--2----4----7----2----|
A|--0----2----5----2----|
E|-----------------0----|
Amaj7 B D E
[Verse 1]
Amaj7 B
Listen close, and don't be stoned
B Amaj7
I'll be here in the morning
Amaj7 B
Cause I'm just floating
Amaj7 B
Your cigarette still burns
B Amaj7
Your messed-up world will thrill me
Amaj7 B
Alison, I'm lost
[Chorus]
E Amaj7
Alison, I said we're sinking
E Amaj7
There's nothing here but that's okay
E Amaj7
Outside your room, your sister's spinning
Amaj7 D E
But she lies, tells me she's just fine
E B Amaj7 E
I guess she's out there somewhere
[Verse 2]
Amaj7 B
And the sailors they strike poses
B Amaj7 B
TV covered walls, and so slowly
Amaj7 B
With your talking and your pills
B Amaj7
Your messed-up life still thrills me
[Chorus]
Amaj7 B
Alison, I'm lost
E Amaj7
Alison, I'll drink your wine
E Amaj7
I wear your clothes, when we're both high
E Amaj7
Alison, I said we're sinking
Amaj7 D E
But you laugh and tells me it's just fine
E B Amaj7 E
I guess she's out there somewhere

the chords are all actually maj7's.
Amaj7 (02120x)
Bmaj7 (x0442x)
Dmaj7 (2220xx)
Emaj7 (x0112x)

I have another way of playing this... It's really simple, because I'd just heard the song and wanted to learn it quickly and easily.
Amaj7: x02120
B6: x2x102
E: 022100
D: xx0222
B during chorus: x24440
I don't know if these are the exact chords as recorded by Slowdive, but they sound good and are easy.
Also, I really wouldn't use Bmaj7 in this song. It doesn't make any sense musically, the "maj7" note (Bb) doesn't belong in the key of E major. If anything, B is supposed to be a dominant chord like B7.

That E chord should be:
[tab]-0-
-0-[/tab]
And 4satin, it looks like you did those chord notations backwards! They are usually done from the lowest E string to highest E string. Yours may confuse some people. In any case, a Bmaj7 would be more like:
[tab]---
---[/tab]
...as opposed to yours which is just a B5 (power chord).
