A|------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------|

[Verse 1]

A5 E/G# Dsus2 A5
We'll do it all, everything, on our own
A5 E/G# Dsus2 A5
We don't need anything, or anyone

[Chorus]

(power chords)

         A5 E/G#
If I lay here, if I just lay here,
              D5 A5
would you lie with me, and just forget the world

[Verse 2]

(intro riff)

A5 E/G# Dsus2 A5
I don't quite, know how to say, how I feel
A5 E/G# Dsus2 A5
Those three words, I said too much, but not enough

[Chorus]

(power chords)

A5 E/G#
If I lay here, if I just lay here
              D5 A5
would you lie with me, and just forget the world
A5 E/G#
Forget what we're told, before we get too old,
          D5 A5
show me a garden that's bursting into life

[Bridge]

(power chords)

A5 E/G# D5 A5
Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads
A5 E/G# D5 A5 (hold)
I need your grace, to remind me, to find my own

[Extended Chorus/Outro]

(power chords)

A5 E/G#
If I lay here, if I just lay here,

              D5 A5
would you lie with me, and just forget the world
A5 E/G#
Forget what we're told, before we get too old
          D5 A5
show me a garden that's bursting into life

A5 E/G#
All that I am, all that I ever was
                D5 A5
is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see
A5 E/G#
I don't know where, confused about how as well
                     D5 A5
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

[Intro Riff]

A5 E/G#
If I lay here, if I just lay here,
              Dsus2 A5
would you lie with me, and just forget the world.

You've got the tones right, but the lead accoustic guitar plays the higher.
A-chord, string G (A-tone) and the high open E.
E/G#-chord, string G (G#-tone, and the open E.
Dsus2/F#-chord, string D (F#-tone) and the open E.
