Hi there! Great song, have fun!

**A user has pointed out that playing A#add9 [x1xx11] is what
they play and it does sounds right! Thanks darkdoom1337!
This had good ratings for the Am/F[x0321x] that was in it's spot,
so play that in place of the A#add9 if you still want to I guess :)

Standard Tuning
W/ capo on 2

Intro
Am G F -x2

Am G F Am
I find the map and draw a straight line
     G F Am
Over rivers, farms, and state lines
             G F Am
The distance from "A" to where you'd be
          G F Am
It's only finger lengths that I see

            G F Am
I touch the place
                    G F Am
Where I'd find your face
              G F Am
My fingers in creases
                G F Am
Of distant dark places

          G F Am
I hang my coat up in the first bar
            G F Am
There is no peace that I've felt so far
             G F Am
The laughter penetrates my silence
           G F Am
As drunken men find flaws in science

                   G F Am
Their words mostly noises
                 G F Am
Ghosts with just voices
                 G F Am
Your words in my memory
               G F Am
Are like music to me

               C
I'm miles from where you are,
 G F Am
I, lay down on the cold ground I,
                      C
I pray that something picks me up
    G A#add9 [x1xx11]
And, sets me down in your warm arms

Am G F Am
After I have traveled so far
             G F Am
We'd set the fire to the third bar
                G F Am
We'd share each other like an island
        G F Am
Until exhausted, close our eyelids

                  G F Am
And dreaming pick up from
                  G F Am
The last place we left off
                  G F Am
Your soft skin is weeping
                G F Am
A joy you can't keep in

               C
I'm miles from where you are,
 G F Am
I, lay down on the cold ground And I,
                      C G
I pray that something picks me up and
                    A#add9 Am
Sets me down in your warm arms

               C
I'm miles from where you are
 G F Am
I, lay down on the cold ground and I,
                      C
I pray that something picks me up
   G A#add9 ........ Am once
and sets me down in your warm arms

Yes, it does sound good. However, there are no capos in the original.
Check this out and tell me if you see the guitar with a capo:

Using a capo just eliminates barre chords that are tough to play for some people...like me!! Lol! This still plays right along with the CD track :)

If you play x1xx11 instead of the x0321x with the capo on, you're playing it exactly like they do. It's a Cadd9 with the high G.
