After [Fig. 1] is played
2 times, a second guitar plays:

 [Fig. 2] [Fig. 2a]
e|--[------5-------5-------5-------5---]--------10-9-------------10-9------|

D|--7s--11s--7--|
A|--7s--12s--7--|

Another guitar plays this simple
octave-slide 3 3/4 times in accordance
with [Fig. 4] and [Fig. 4 cont.]:

 [Fig. 5]

E|--------------|

There is a barely decipherable lick in A major
just before it ends; it's hard to make out:

B|---------------[x-2]-----------------| [This guitar line is played

D|----------6-6-7-7--|

After [Fig. 10] is played 12 times
and the e-major scale is played
above guitar 3 plays:

6. Some Constellation

Intro/Verse:

In order to play this song from the TAB displayed
you must listen to the rhythm. I'll outline the basic
chords and you can listen for how to play it correctly.

 [Fig. 1] *
e|--9-----------7---6--|
B|--11-----7----4---7--| [Bmaj7 (*) is played by putting
G|--11----------4---8--| your thumb on the B (7th) fret
D|--11--s8---8--6---9--| on the E string]
A|--9-----------6---x--|
E|--------------4---7--|

Play Fig. 1 x 20.

Listen how the Bmaj7 often quickly
shifts to B6:

Play [Fig. 4] x 6; the notes
are barely audible and fade
out on the sixth time played.

After Fig. 1 is played 12 times
a third guitar plays:

Outro:

There is a bit of improvised arpeggiation of
[Fig. 5] using the thumb and index finger
followed by this nice little ... thing:

 [Fig. 5 cont.]

D|--4-4--4-----2-2--2-----4-4--|
A|--4-4--------2-2--------2-2--|
E|--2-2--------0-0-------------|

Interlude 2b:

F#, E x 7
F#

With:

 [Fig. 16a]
e|-------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------|
D|--s2h4-4-2h4-4-4-2h4-4-2-------|
A|------------------------4-2-0--|
E|-------------[x-3]-------------|

Harmonised the third time
played with a second guitar:

 [Fig. 17]
e|------------------------------|
B|------------------------------|
G|------------------------------|
G|--s5h7-7-5h7-7-7-5h7-6--------|
A|-----------------------7-5----|
E|---------------------------5--|

Fig. 16a above finishes
on the following:

 [Fig. 16b]
e|---------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------|
D|--2h4-4-2h4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4~~--|
A|---------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------|

Outro:

The bass carries the outro; the guitars
mess around with F# (seperating it into
different parts like in [Fig. 15]. The
second guitar replicates the bassline at
the end. The following figure show both
the main parts:

e|----2-----------2---------|--------------------------|
B|----2-----------2---------|--------------------------|
G|----3--4-4------3--4-4----|----------------4-4-4-----|
D|--4--------6--4--------6--|------4-4-4-4-4-------6~--|
A|--4-----------4-----------|--4-4---------------------|
E|--2-----------2-----------|--------------------------|

Even though the bass ends on
an F# alone, you can also just
strum an F# on guitar.

10. Heers

Intro/Verse 1

Am, D, G, Em
Am, D, D#dim, Em x 2

The second time around a second
guitar plays the following line:

 [Fig. 1]
e|----------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------|
G|--5---7-5-4-------5---7-5---------| [The x note should really be
D|----7-------5-4-2---7-------------| -7- on the same fret yet it
A|--------------------------5~-6-x--| isn't sounded properly]
E|----------------------------------|

Chorus:

C, Am x 2

Bridge:

G, C x 6

With:

 [Fig. 2]
e|------------------[x-2]---------3~------------|
B|--3---3-5---------------3---3-5---5---3-5-3~--|
G|----4-----4~------4-------4---------4---------|
D|------------5-0-2---5~------------------------|
A|----------3~------3-------------3~------------|
E|--3---------------------3-----------------3~--|

 [Fig. 2 cont.]
e|--------------------------------3~~--|
B|--3---3-5---------------3---3-5------|
G|----4-----4~------4-------4----------|
D|------------5-0-2---5~---------------|
A|----------3~------3-------------3~~--|
E|--3---------------------3------------|

Am, D x 2

G, Am, D x 4

The first two times the above progression (G, Am, D)
is played, there is a little guitar run than you must
play in between the G and Am; you don't need a second
guitar for this part -- just let the G ring:

 [Fig. 3]
e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|----------4-2-------|
D|------4-2-----2-4~--|
A|--[5]---------------|
E|--------------------|

The final two times the progression
is played, a second guitar plays the
following figure undernearth the chords:

 [Fig. 4a] [Fig. 4b]
e|--------|---------------------------------|
B|--------|----------3-1-0--------5-----7~--|
G|----7~--|----2-4--------------5---5s7-7~--| [Only play Fig. 4a once]
D|--7-----|--5-----5-------5-s7-------------|
A|--------|---------------------------------|
E|--------|---------------[x-2]-------------|

Verse 2:

Am, D, G, Em
Am, D, D#dim, Em

Chorus 2:

C, Am x 2

Bridge/Interlude:

G, C x 2
G, Am x 12
G

With:

 [Fig. 5 - Piano Line]
e|-----------[x-6]------------|
B|--12-12-13-15-15-15-13-12---|
G|----------------------------|
D|----------------------------|
A|-----------15~--------------|
E|-----------------------15~--|

[Fig. 2] x 5
This does not include
[Fig. 2 cont.]

There's a lead-guitar line in G major on the high E
string that I couldn't possibly tab -- the effects
used make it difficult to distinguish between the
notes... just remember it's in G Major, work out the
effects used and keep an ear out for the rhythm.

Outro:

 [Fig. 6]
e|---------------------------------*--------------------|
B|--0-0-1-3---3-3-1-0~----0------1-3-----3---3---0h1p0--|
G|--------------------------0~---------0-----0~---------|
D|-----------------------------------2------------------|
A|----------3~----------2-2----2---3-----3-3---3~-------|
E|-[3]----------------3--[x-2]-----*--------------------|

The asterisks mark the point at which
you stop the second time you play [Fig. 6]

After [Fig. 6] is played once, a second
guitar plays the following figure along
with it for the final time:

 [Fig. 7]
e|---------------------------|
B|--3---3-5---------------3--|
G|----4-----4~------4--------|
D|------------5-0-2---5~-----|
A|----------3~------3--------|
E|--3---------------------3--|

Am, D, G, Em ... fade out.

11. Doris Tailspin (Boring Mountain)

Every album should have an
obligatory "Woohoo!" point.

There's really no point trying to tab what's going
on there ... just play whatever you want over these
chords.

Jam:

G, Bm, A,
G, Bm, D x 3

G, Bm, A x 2

D

G, A, D x 5

Fade out.

Very awesome. My favorite album of the year so far.
I've been looking for tabs from the album for a while, thanks for making this.
