Either the tuning is off, or the chord names are a 1/2 step off.

Yea, it should be an A, E, F#m, and D, that is if you're tuned a half-step down.

The chords are perfectly accurate. However, every string must be tuned a half-step down for the playing experience to sound exactly like the recording. Tune your guitar to Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb and then play the chords as given; it'll sound just right.
