seems right enough. My mate and the guitarist from his band taught me this version and it sounds great!

That's about as good as it can sound in standard tuning. Kelly Jones uses open G tuning (gbGDBG) so the hand is free to play the wee riff on the third string through strumming the open g chord as his hand climbs up to fret the Cm7 on the 5th fret like something along these lines:

you could slide instead of hammer there.
the other chord in open G tuning is 00777x. God only knows what that should be called. Using this tuning allows you to play the harmonics in tune with the record like so:
