                                                                          F#m
Red white and blue to the bone the day he landed in Kandahar
A F#m B7

A E
Been a year no and he?s still there

I'm putting this in same key, just using capo 2 & creating the A as a G form chord, like Earle does... Some missing chords in the above, timing of chord changes are off. I've seen him play this LOTS live (and I play it in my sets) and it should be:

CAPO 2

D A7 D
Jimmy joined the army 'cause he had no place to go
D
Ain't no one hirin' 'round here since
Em
all the jobs went down to Mexico
G Em A7
Reckoned he'd learn himself a trade maybe see the world
G Em A7
Move to the city some day and marry a black haired girl

CHORUS 1:
G D
Somebody somewhere had another plan
G D
Now he's got a rifle in his hand
D A7 Bm -> G
Rollin' into Baghdad wonderin' how he got this far
D A7 D
Just another poor boy off to fight a rich man's war

D G D A7

D A7 D
Bobby had an eagle & a flag tattooed on his arm D Em
Red white and blue to the bone the day he landed in Kandahar
G Em A7
Left behind a pretty young wife and a baby girl

CHORUS 2

Bridge:

Attention, Ultimate Guitar site programmers... when you've checked "correction" box, shouldn't 1) it be listed as corrections? Or should I choose Tab even though this is lyrics & chords? and 2) when you edit something like the above and hit Save, it messes up the layout until you refresh the page or try to add some more comments..
