Listen to the song for arrangement plus embellishments (i.e. the verse and
chorus riffs
are played with slight variations each time around). I have endeavoured to
indicate
the on-beat in some of the horn unison section, but I'm pretty sure these
aren't quite
correct. I'm not very good at counting to four!
Enjoy!
(and if loads of covers bands start playing this around North London - you
owe me a pint!)

nope, gotta say you're wrong.. hes tabbed it well. although there is no bass part in the intro, and i wouldnt mind a bit more spacing in the "horn break" section to help with the rhythm. im giving 5***** though ;) great tab!

Actually there are a few errors, but this is close enough for a beginner to learn the song. If you listen closely to the original recording some of the parts tabbed here are played up an octave - and if you really want that classic motown sound try playing the notes further up the neck so the notes sound more mellow. That last part depends a bit on your setup, but I usually go for a brighter high-mids focused sound and that's what makes my bass sound like the recording.
