how the hell does anyone change chords fast enough to play this?

Been playing this song for years. This is a pretty accurate. Ignore the chord charts at the start, and play the chords as the OP has written them out. Personally I play the A5 in the verse as Asus2; I drop the low C# out of the F#m11/E; and I play straight C#m and G#, as opposed to the 7th's. I always found it easier to play the C#/B (C#7) as 7x666x. Tricky song to play, but quite satisfying once you get it down.

The end of the verse should be an Asus2 by my ear. Also the A#m7b5 can be a Bb half diminished, it's the same chord, but I believe Ultimate-guitar should have a drop menu with the pdf of the chord chart to help out less experienced players.
