Band: Stray Cats
Song: Too Hip, Gotta go
Album: Rant N' Rave with the Stray Cats
Tuning: Standard

Alright guys. Let me tell you a little something about
this guy, Brian Setzer....... You know what? I can't tell you.
You're just gonna have to find out by playing one of his songs.
The man is a genius and learning his songs are not for the faint of
heart. Nobody has had the BALLS to tab this out yet. You can call
me courageous or call me stupid but, I'm very proud of what I learned.
Maybe I'm in over my head by tabbing this? I know the damn notes
but still can't play NOWHERE near the speed Setzer plays it in the
original recording. Having said that, this song is actually very
fun to play because of all the crap that's going on and it's very
rewarding to know how to play it. I plan on tabbing more Stray
Cats if my heart allows me to. =). Alright guys, strums
not exact. Let's go and, may God have mercy on all of our souls...

*Seems like he plays out of his neck pickup****

Well guys, that's it. I wish you the best
of luck. I sure as hell will need it too. Please, if there are
any corrections that you can suggest, don't hesitate. I know this isn't
100% but I'm sure it's damn close to it. Let me know what you think!
Have fun!!

THANK YOU for posting this! i had been searching everywhere for this like all of 2008. FINALLY! watching Setzer play this was like watching God poop out diamonds! simply unbelievable. but i really gotta hand it to you for tabbing this out and posting it. i just played around with it for a like a half hour (its almost 4 am haha). did learn a few things about lead guitar from it. Setzer IS a God and he wants us to follow him lol

This is pretty close, but there are some off notes and chord names. The fingerpicking portion is over a G7 chord, though the tune is in G major (it's basically a rockabilly blues progression), and part of the solo (towards the end, mostly) the notes are a bit off here and there, but otherwise this is pretty accurate.

Thanks Chris! Appreciate the comments. I tabbed this out a couple of years ago. Since then, I've noticed more and more mistakes that I've been too lazy to fix LOL!. Thanks again!
