Sufjan Stevens - Death With Dignity

E: x x x x 9 9 7
A: x x x x 9 10 9
B: x x x x 11 12 11
F#m: x x x x 11 10 9

E A B F#m E A F#m E A

E A B
Spirit of my silence I can hear you, but I'm afraid to be near you
            F#m E A
And I don't know where to begin
            F#m E A
And I don't know where to begin

E A B
Somewhere in the desert there's a forest, and an acre before us
            F#m E A
But I don't know where to begin
            F#m E A
But I don't know where to begin
                              B F#m E A E
Again I lost my strength completely, or be near me tired old mare
                      F#m
With the wind in your hair

E A B
Amethyst and flowers on the table, is it real or a fable?
          F#m E A
Well I suppose a friend is a friend
           F#m E A
And we all know how this will end

E A B
Chimney swift that finds me be my keeper, silhouette on the seater
             F#m E A
What is that song you sing for the dead
             F#m E A
What is that song you sing for the dead
                              B F#m E A E
I see the signal searchlight strike me, in the window of my room
                      F#m E A
Well I got nothing to prove
                      F#m E A
Well I got nothing to prove

E A B F#m E A F#m E A

E A B
I forgive you mother I can hear you, and I long to be near you
          F#m E A
But every road leads to an end
          F#m E A
Yes every road leads to an end
                        B F#m E A E
Your aberration passes through me, in the willows and five red hens
                       F#m E A
You'll never see us again
                       F#m E A
You'll never see us again

If you're just playing the chords, a G#m works much better than a B in most places. Except for the line "Again I lost my strength completely" and other similar lines which should remain a B.
