Intro:
C

C
Omaha, Omaha

Where you been?
                    Am
When we meet we can talk awhile

I can sleep in your dreams
                                C
The night alone I've been waiting

C
Omaha, Omaha
                                        Am
The saddled streets, the burro beats down my door

When you say it's no love affair
                        F
I will know and when we go
     Am C/B C F* C
I'll be the only thing who cares

C Am
I've been waiting awhile
C Am
I've been waiting awhile
C Am
I've been waiting awhile
C Am
I've been waiting awhile

C
Here I come, Omaha

Hiding out
      Am
I got hot head, hot eyes, hot ticks, hot mouth
C
Each howl, I get bigger
                   Am
I can't stay, I can for the night, for the night

The weekend and the night
          F Am
I've been aiding my fall
F C F Am
Aiding my fall, aiding my fall
     C/B C
I'll be long gone

C Am
You shouldn't wake me awhile
C Am
You shouldn't wake me awhile
C Am
You shouldn't wake me awhile
C Am
You shouldn't wake me awhile

Outro:
F Am C/B C (x2)

Your version is boring. Mine uses the bass part for melody so you can actually keep someone's attention while strumming the verse. Thumbs down paco.
