Hi! I love this song and it's so fun to play! A regular
'A' can be used for the A4 but I think they're easier and
it sounds just as good. Have fun!

*Thanks to jvizzle4shizzle for the suggestion- change D to Bm
on "story" (last line of the chorus) :)

Asus4 [x02230] Rather than regular D's in the
G [3x0033] intro and the solos, I think
Bm [x04432] D2's sound more accurate.

D A G
I used to think one day we'd tell the story of us
                                        D
How we met and the sparks flew instantly
             A G
People would say, "They're the lucky ones"
D A G
I used to know my place was a spot next to you
                                            D
Now I'm searching the room for an empty seat
                           A G
'Cause lately I don't even know what page you're on

[Pre-Chorus]

A Bm
Oh, a simple complication
          G D
Miscommunications lead to fall out
G
So many things that I wish you knew
A
So many walls that I can't break through

[Chorus]

D Asus4 G
Now I'm standing alone in a crowded room
                      D
And we're not speaking
                 Asus4 G
And I'm dying to know is it killing you
(G)
Like it's killing me?
Bm A D
I don't know what to say since a twist of fate
                  G
When it all broke down
        Bm A G N.C.
And the story of us looks a lot like a tragedy now - Next chapter

A Bm Dsus2 G

[Verse 2]

D A
How'd we end up this way?
                 G
See me nervously pulling at my clothes
                       D
And trying to look busy
                      A G
And you're doing your best to avoid me

D A G
I'm starting to think one day I'll tell the story of us
                                            D
How I was losing my mind when I saw you here
                  A G
But you held your pride like you should have held me

[Pre-Chorus]

A Bm
Oh, we're scared to see the ending
           G D
Why are we pretending this is nothing?
G
I'd tell you I miss you but I don't know how
A N.C.
I've never heard silence quite this loud

[Chorus]

D Asus4 G

The battle's in your hands now

But I would lay my armor down

Okay... I finally had some time to really work this one out. I did it in a rush which is a no no when you're a beginner I guess!! (I knew there were parts that were off but I was in a rush to get to a football game! I still don't think it was a 1 star though, at least a 21/2- 3! LOL!) So check back when it updates:) Thanks for the criticism! It makes me have to get serious and not be lazy!!

That was quick! Yay! I really love this song I can't believe their are no other versions on here. I thought it would be one of the more popular songs from the album. Whatever! I love it!!
