Here is my first tab. I seemed to have found all these very complicated ways of
playing this song so I decided to make it simpler for our young players.

Capo 3rd fret

G D
Desmond has his barrow in the market place...

                         G
Molly is the singer in a band...
G7 C
Desmond says to Molly "Girl, I like your face"
           G D G
And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand...
G Bm Em
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, brah!...
G D G
Lala how the life goes on...
G Bm Em
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, brah!...
G D G
Lala how the life goes on.

G D
Desmond takes a trolley to the jewelry store...
                           G
Buys a twenty carat golden ring...
G7 C
Takes it back to Molly waiting at the door...
              G D G
And as he gives it to her she begins to sing...
G Bm Em
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, brah!...
G D G

G D

Sorta new to all this but I throw in some D7 chords in there. Durning “buys a twenty carat ring. Is that ridiculous? Also Molly and Desmon lets the children lend a hand,
