                Paperback Writer – The Beatles

Single (1966)
Now on: "Past Masters, Vol 2" and “Mono Masters, Vol 2”

Tabbed by: maguri
Tuning: Standard

The intro and chorus part don’t have any chords in the strict sense. But
there must have been some initially as one can hear in the live versions.
There the Beatles play the chords suggested below in order to have some
orientation for the singers. When I play alone, I use these chords – sounds
quite nice.

So simple it almost beggars belief at how good this actually sounds when you sing and play it ! Excellent stuff Sir as always

After all these years I never knew what they were singing in the backing vocals, now I know it was 'Brother John' (Lennon?). Just a suggestion, but it sounds good to me to alternate the G (355433) with a G7 (353433) and also the C (8 10 10 9 8 8) with a C7 (8 10 8 9 8 8) [tab] G G7 G G7 Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?
